The Market Is Moving - 03/12/2008
The newspapers have for several months been full of doom and gloom about the property market, with both values and transaction volumes generally down across the UK. However, we have always been highly aware that our role is fundamentally to “help people move”, whatever the market conditions. It would be all too easy to blame the market and simply accept falling sales as a consequence of economic factors. But if our job is to help people move, it just means that we have to work a little harder, and a little smarter if we are to continue to secure our clients’ objectives. The stresses of moving are potentially too great NOT to have a good agent on your side. The implications can involve career, children, relationships, and health – not just having a roof over your head! So we were pleased to see in a recent independent “For Sale Sign Analysis” report that Mathew Limb Estate Agents has more “sold” boards in the West Hull Villages than any other agent. Indeed, out of some fourteen estate agents in the area, we have a 27.3% market share of properties actually sold, with the next nearest agent having an 18.2% share. The figures underline our team’s hard work and the importance of realistic pricing. Whilst we don’t have a magic wand, if you are thinking of selling, then it might be worth contacting us for an informal marketing appraisal meeting. You might be pleasantly surprised!
